We are currently seeking Emergency Physicians interested in full-time, part-time or administrative roles at Medical Center of South Arkansas , located in El Dorado, AR. The 11-bed Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 16,000 patients each year. There is also a Fast Track for non-urgent cases.

The administrator’s compensation package includes a substantial monthly stipend. ECI also offers personalized scheduling, credentialing, and recruiting services.
The Medical Center of South Arkansas (MCSA) is a 166-bed facility. This general acute-care facility is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The recently expanded medical center offers services that include surgical, neonatal, and intensive care. Since 1996 the Medical Center of South Arkansas has made $40 million in improvements.
Whether you prefer to spend your days teeing off or casting a line, El Dorado offers plenty of outdoor recreation options. Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge spans 65,000 acres and is the world’s largest green-tree reservoir; here residents enjoy camping, fishing and hiking. Arkansas is known as the duck hunting capital of the world. El Dorado also features many local golf courses and six area parks, including a skate park, soccer complex, and several baseball/softball facilities.
Residents of El Dorado are eligible for the El Dorado Promise, which was established in 2007. The El Dorado Promise is a scholarship program that covers college tuition for any graduate of El Dorado High School. This unique program provides up to five years of tuition and mandatory fees and can be used towards any US accredited university.
All physicians are partners of South Arkansas Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life and disability insurance at group rates.
Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care Specialty with Emergency Medicine experience. ACLS and ATLS are required for all physicians. Third and fourth year residents are able to moonlight.
