The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist to join the Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center within the Riley Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic.

The faculty member will provide direct clinical care to children, adolescents and adults with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders, supervise medical students, general, child and adolescent psychiatry residents in this clinical context, and develop a federally-funded line of research in this area.

The Indiana University School of Medicine was founded in 1903 - only the fourth medical school in the United States, after Johns Hopkins, Harvard, and Western Reserve, to require two or more years of collegiate work for admission. The school awarded the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree to its first class of 25 in 1907.

The IUSOM educates the second largest student body in the U.S. and has more than 60 clinical departments and specialty divisions.
