St. Luke’s Physician Group is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join a group of six in a busy practice in Bethlehem, PA. This is a growing practice with surgical and outpatient growth in the double digits over the past several years. There are 3, soon to be 4 offices, serving a population of more than 1 million people. Strong support from our primary care physicians is available.
Call is 1:6 weekend call with alternating night call. Ideal candidate will be willing to take Trauma/ED call and teach residents and medical students. We are a Level 1 Trauma Center. Physician extenders take first call along with in-house orthopedic residents.
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefit package including malpractice, vacation, health insurance and CME time off/allowance.
St. Luke's University Health Network is a non-profit, regional, fully integrated network comprised of hospitals, physicians and other related organizations providing care in eastern Pennsylvania. The Network includes more than 150 locations and six hospitals.
Areas of special expertise include: a fully accredited Level 1 trauma center, open heart surgery, oncology (including the region's only fellowship-trained surgical oncologists) neuroscience, orthopaedics, high-risk pregnancy, region's busiest obstetrical service, robotic surgery, radiology (we are an international General Electric Show Site) and vascular disease.
